Lemonade Soy Chicken
Lemonade Soy Chicken sounds weird I know. But the lemonade helps to tenderise the chicken and give it a slightly sweet flavour to balance the saltiness of the soy sauce.
It’s easy to make and quick at only 20 minutes from go to whoa. Serve as a starter for Happy Hour or a main dish over rice, Lemonade Soy Chicken is sure to please.
Lemonade Soy Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 Chicken Breast finely diced
- 1 cup Lemonade not the sugar free variety
- 3 tbsp Soy Sauce I used Tamari, which is lower in salt
Instructions
- Mix the lemonade and soy sauce in a cold frying pan. Add the chicken and stir to coat.
- Let marinate for 15 minutes.
- Turn on the heat and cook, over a medium heat, for 15 minutes or until the chicken has cooked through.
- Serve as an entrée or over rice as a main meal.
