Classic Seafood Sauce
In summer a serve of freshly cooked prawns is so refreshing. This Classic Seafood Sauce recipe is quick and easy to make. It has a slight tang from the Tabasco, Worcestershire and the Smoked Paprika, but it is very very mild and certainly not overpowering.
Add this Classic Seafood Sauce to prawns and shredded lettuce and wallah – you have a classic retro Prawn Cocktail.
We served this up as an entrée for our Christmas Lunch and it was a real winner.
Classic Seafood Sauce
Equipment
- Mixing bowl
- Small whisk
Ingredients
- 1 cup Whole-egg Mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Tomato Sauce
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 tsp Tabasco Sauce
- 1/4 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 tsp Crushed Garlic
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl using a small whisk.
- Serve with freshly peeled cooked prawns and shredded lettuce.
