Tomato Sauce
A very tasty addition to any meat or even for your salad.
Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/2 small Onion (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves Garlic (crushed)
- 400 g Tine of Diced Tomatoes
- 1 tsp Dried Oregano
- 1/2 cup Beef Stock (salt reduced)
- 2 tsp Balsamic Vinegar
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat & cook the onion & garlic, stirring for 5 minutes or until softened. Add the tomato, oregano, stock & balsamic vinegar & bring to the boil.
- Reduce the heat & simmer for 20 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
- Serve with pasta.

I love how the Balsamic Vinegar gives this homemade Tomato Sauce a bit of spiciness.
