Bacon Bomb Balls
A tasty happy hour dish that bursts with flavour. It’s not the prettiest of dishes but there was none left after the crowd sampled the cooked product.
I cooked this in a spun steel camp oven over heat beads in my stainless steel Oz Braai Fire Pit. You could just as easily cook this in your caravan oven. The heat beads were lit in a heat bead chimney which gets them going quicker.
The Five Spice powder adds a lovely flavour. I have toned down the Cayenne Pepper from the original recipe. Add more if you can take the heat.

Notes
We cooked the Bacon Bomb Balls in a spun steel camp oven on heat beads in an Oz Braai fire pit. We used a Heat Bead Chimney to get the heat beads alight quickly.
